This Privacy Policy explains how VaultSeller ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the VaultSeller Chrome extension and website.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Email address — collected when you create a VaultSeller account, used for authentication and account management.
- Watchlist data — seller usernames and listing IDs you choose to monitor, stored in the cloud only if you use the Pro Competitor Watchlist feature.
- Anonymous session statistics — number of listings viewed and estimated profit totals per session. These are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
- Extension settings — your preferences (store level, target margin, etc.) stored locally via Chrome's sync storage.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- Your eBay browsing or search history.
- Which specific listings you view.
- Your eBay login credentials or account details.
- Any payment information (all payments are handled by Paddle).
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your account.
- To store and sync your watchlist across devices (Pro feature).
- To manage your subscription status via our payment provider, Paddle.
4. Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google) — used for authentication and cloud storage of watchlist data. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record, who processes all payments. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.
- eBay Finding API — used to retrieve sold price history. No personal data is sent to eBay as part of this integration.
5. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting [email protected].
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
7. Cookies
The VaultSeller website (vaultseller.co.uk) does not use tracking cookies. The extension itself does not use cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
